This paper expounds the functions and requirements of soldering fluxes,the characteristics of lead-free,low residue,low toxicity,halogen-free,and VOC free in environmentally friendly soldering fluxes,and explores the use of global soldering fluxes,including rosin based fluxes,water-soluble fluxes,cleaning free fluxes,and low solid content fluxes.
