This paper introduces the current situation of the main municipal water supply and drainage pipes in China,compares the type and performance of commonly used municipal water supply and drainage pipes,and discusses the selection of water supply and drainage pipes from the three aspects of economy,practicability,and adapting to the conditions of their own land.Through the case study,the application of municipal water supply and drainage pipes in engineering practice was introduced.
