中国式现代化是人类现代化历史上恢弘独特的理论与实践创新,城市功能的嬗变是中国式现代化的重要载体。城市功能嬗变的内生动力主要包括民众需求升级、市场经济发展、全方位对外开放和社会公平正义,这些内生动力在不断推动城市功能嬗变,使城市向着紧缩城市、宜居城市、低碳城市等功能发展,在城市功能嬗变过程中推进了中国式现代化。虽然叠加复合的内生动力在不断激发城市功能嬗变,但仍然存在内生动力不足的短板,亟须通过坚持中国共产党的领导、坚持以人民为中心、贯彻新发展理念等路径激发并持续生成城市功能嬗变的内生动力,通过城市功能的优化完善推进中国式现代化持续、健康发展。

Chinese path to modernization is a grand and unique innovation in theory and practice in the history of human modernization,and the evolution of urban functions is an important carrier of Chinese path to modernization.The endogenous power of the evolution of urban functions mainly include the upgrading of public demand,the development of market economy,all-round opening up to the outside world and social fairness and justice.The endogenous power continues to promote the evolution of urban functions,making cities develop into compact cities,livable cities,low-carbon cities and so on,and promoting Chinese path to modernization in the process of urban functions evolution.Although the superimposed and compounded endogenous power continues to stimulate the evolution of urban functions,there are still shortcomings of insufficient endogenous power.It is urgent to stimulate and continuously generate the endogenous power of urban function evolution by adhering to the leadership of the Communist Party of China,adhering to the people-centered approach and implementing the new development concept,and promoting the sustained and healthy development of Chinese path to modernization through the optimization and improvement of urban functions.
