词类划分一直是汉语语法研究中的一个老大难问题。“名动包含说”和“名动分立说”,是沈家煊先生出于构建新的汉语语法理论的愿望而提出的一种设想。“名动包含”理论未能真正从理论上和语言事实上得到充足的依据支撑,缺乏说服力,其本身存在诸多不自洽之处。为解决好汉语词类问题,似乎需要进一步从词类本身和其他视角(如从省略和转喻、从语言信息结构)去深思与探究。

Word classification has been a dilemma in Chinese grammar research.The“noun-verb inclusion”and the“noun-verb exclusion”are two concepts proposed by Professor Shen Jiaxuan in attempt to establish a new grammati⁃cal framework for the Chinese language.The aim of this paper is to argue that the hypothesis of“noun-verb inclusion”is not convincing due to its lack of sufficient basis in theory and nor is it supported by language facts.There are also some inconsistency problems in the theory itself.It is suggested that the problem concerning Chinese word class should be ex⁃plored from two aspects:one is the word class itself;the other is from other syntactic perspectives such as ellipsis,me⁃tonymy,and the information structure.
