金融科技赋能绿色发展:理论分析与实证检验

Fintech Empowering Green Development:Theoretical Analysis and Empirical Testing

近年来,我国金融科技的快速发展为经济绿色、低碳发展提供了新动能。本文基于2011-2019年30个省级面板数据,实证检验金融科技与绿色发展之间的关系和影响机制。研究结果表明:金融科技进步对我国经济绿色发展呈正向影响,在进行滞后一期解释变量的内生性检验、调整样本、替换关键变量等一系列稳健性检验后,该正向效应依然显著。从影响机理来看,金融科技通过投资调整效应和技术创新效应推动绿色发展。区域异质性分析发现:由于东部地区金融科技发展成熟度较高,金融科技促进绿色发展的边际效应低于中西部地区。因此,我国应加大对金融科技应用的支持力度,提升金融科技质量和效率;构建金融科技和绿色金融的协同发展机制,推进金融科技服务与实体经济融合创新发展;建立区域协作机制,加强对中西部地区金融科技推广应用,赋能地区经济发展的绿色转型。

In recent years,the rapid development of fintech in China has provided new impetus for green and low-carbon economic development.Based on panel data from 30 provincial-level regions in China from 2011 to 2019,this study empirically tests the relationship and impact mechanism between fintech and green development.The research results show that fintech progress has a positive impact on China's green economic development.After conducting a series of robustness tests,including endogeneity tests with one-lag explanatory variables,sample adjustments,and substitution of key variables,this positive effect remains significant.In terms of the impact mechanism,fintech promotes green development through investment adjustment effects and technological innovation effects.Regional heterogeneity analysis reveals that the marginal effect of fintech on promoting green development is lower in the eastern region,where fintech development is more mature,compared to the central and western regions.Therefore,China should increase support for the application of fintech,enhance the quality and efficiency of fintech,establish a coordinated development mechanism between fintech and green finance,promote the integration and innovative development of fintech services for the real economy,and establish a regional cooperation mechanism to strengthen the promotion and application of fintech in the central and western regions,empowering the green transformation of regional economic development.
