就业稳定性对农民工城市定居意愿的影响

The Impact of Employment Stability on Migrant Workers'Urban Settlement Willingness:Analysis of the Survey from Five Cities in Liaoning Province

就业是农民工进城谋生的基本途径,而就业稳定是农民工定居城市的基本保障。利用辽宁省农民工调研数据,在构建农民工城市定居决策模型的基础上实证分析了就业稳定性对农民工城市定居意愿的影响。结果表明,就业稳定性对农民工城市定居意愿具有显著的正向作用,且区域稳定性较之职业稳定性的作用更加明显。进一步讨论发现,就业稳定性对农民工城市定居意愿的影响普遍存在,且在不同特征群体中存在差异;职业稳定性能够显著提升新一代、高收入和在小城市就业农民工的城市定居意愿;区域稳定性能够显著提升老一代、从事白领职业和高收入农民工的城市定居意愿。

Employment is the basic way for migrant workers to earn a living in cities,and employment stability is the basic guarantee for migrant workers to settle in cities.Using the field survey data of migrant workers in Liaoning Province,this paper empirically analyzes the impact of employment stability on migrant workers'urban settlement willingness based on the construction of a decision-making model of the urban settlement willingness of migrant workers.The results show that,employment stability does have a significant positive impact on migrant workers'urban settlement willingness,and compared with occupational stability,regional stability has a stronger explanatory power for migrant workers'urban settlement willingness.Further discussion finds that,the impact of employment stability on the urban settlement willingness of migrant workers is widespread,and there are differences among different characteristic groups.Occupational stability can significantly enhance the urban settlement willingness of migrant workers who are the new generation,have high-income,or employed in small cities.Regional stability can significantly enhance the urban settlement willingness of migrant workers who are the old generation,engaged in high-end occupation,have high-income,employed in small cities or big cities.
