In the early 21st century,Professor Rita Charon of Columbia University in the United States first proposed the concept of“narrative medicine.”Over the past two decades,“narrative medicine”has become an important link between humanities education and medical education.This article discusses the connotations,development history,and applications of“narrative medicine”in medical education.
