As a rising music genre star in the 20th century,film and television music has unique aesthetic properties,including interpretability of content,directionality of imagination,and freedom of structure.And as a highly comprehensive art,it can provide materials for violin teaching,stimulate children's interest in learning,and create specific contexts for practice.Based on the current situation of aesthetic education,this paper analyzes the characteristics and functions of film and television music,extracts relevant excellent works as new teaching materials,and takes violin teaching as an example to explore the driving force of film and television music in children's aesthetic education.
