甲状腺相关眼病的临床防治进展

Progress in clinical prevention and treatment of thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy

甲状腺相关眼病(TAO)属于自身免疫性疾病,也被称作Graves眼病(GO),是罹患甲状腺疾病时出现的以突眼为主要特征的眼部病变。因其通常双眼受累,表现为眼睑挛缩、眼球显著突出、眼睑肿胀、眼球活动受限等,严重者甚至可能出现双目失明等情况,对患者的工作和生活产生极大的影响。目前TAO的具体发病机制暂不明确,因此临床上尚无针对其病因的特效治疗方法和预防措施。但随着近些年来免疫治疗、靶向治疗等领域不断取得重大进展,部分免疫抑制剂、靶向药物等在临床上的治疗效果被证实,这为TAO的治疗及预防提供了新的思路。本文对TAO的临床治疗及预防进展进行综述。

Thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy(TAO)is an autoimmune disease,also known as Graves ophthalmopathy(GO),which is an eye disease characterized by exophthalmos when suffering from thyroid disease.Due to the usual involvement of both eyes,it manifests as eyelid contracture,significant protrusion of the eyeball,eyelid swelling,limited eye movement,and in severe cases,even blindness,which has a significant impact on the patient’s work and life.At present,the specific pathogenesis of TAO is not clear,so there is no specific treatment method or preventive measure for its etiology in clinical practice.However,with the continuous significant progress in immunotherapy,targeted therapy and other fields in recent years,clinical therapeutic effects of some immunosuppressive drugs,targeted drugs and other drugs have been confirmed,which provides new ideas for the treatment and prevention of TAO.This article reviews the clinical treatment and prevention progress of TAO.
