Economic globalization is not only the buzzword of today,but also the focus of academic research.Economic glo⁃balization mainly includes trade liberalization,capital globalization and production decentralization.Economic globalization is a necessary factor for the emergence of global cities and global city networks.In addition,there is an inherent and necessary link between trade liberalization,globalization of capital and decentralization of production,which together contribute to the formation of global cities and their networks.At the same time,the formation of global cities and global city networks has had a significant impact on the world economy.
