今年是共建“一带一路”倡议提出十周年。10年来,共建“一带一路”国家航运贸易飞速增长。作为全球贸易大国,我国约95%的货物运输量通过海上运输实现,海运航线和服务网络遍布世界主要国家和地区。中国与共建“一带一路”国家的贸易额从2013年的1.63万亿美元增长至2022年的2.84万亿美元,其中绝大多数贸易通过航运实现。

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative.Over the past 10 years,shipping trade in the countries jointly building the Belt and Road has grown rapidly.As a global trading power,about 95%of China's cargo transport is achieved by sea transport,and maritime routes and service networks are spread across major countries and regions in the world.China's trade with Belt and Road countries grew from$1.63 trillion in 2013 to$2.84 trillion in 2022,with the vast majority of that trade occurring through shipping.As the pioneer of the construction of the"Belt and Road",COSCO SHIPPING takes ships as the link,port investment as the fulcrum,comprehensive logistics as the support,and the South Pole and the Arctic transportation as the extension,and actively builds a"point,line,surface and pole"efficient threedimensional logistics network-21 port projects along the"Belt and Road"and 167 container liner lines were laid,and the capacity of container ships was 1.653 million TEU,accounting for 55.9%of the Group's container fleet capacity;Undertake the import and transportation tasks of important national materials including grain,iron ore,crude oil,liquefied natural gas...In helping to promote the integrated development of the"Silk Road Maritime"port,shipping and trade,it has written a series of mutually beneficial and win-win chapters.From the perspective of the mission and responsibility of shipping personnel,the Topic column of this issue will review the fruitful achievements of COSCO SHIPPING and all parties in the Silk Road decade,and jointly draw up plans for how to continue to make efforts in the next decade to promote the stable and long-term construction of high-quality"Belt and Road".1.Economic and trade cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative has yielded fruitful results and enjoys broad prospects.Over the past decade,economic and trade cooperation between China and countries jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative has enjoyed large scale,fast growth,vitality and strong resilience.In 2022,the trade volume between China and co-developing countries reached nearly 2.9 trillion US dollars,up nearly 76 percent from a decade ago.By 2022,China's investment stock in Belt and Road cooperation countries will reach US$309.9 billion,2.7 times that of 2013.In 2022,the actual investment of Belt and Road countries in China was 21.11 billion US dollars.From 2013 to 2022,the total amount of newly signed contracts and the total turnover of China's national contracted projects reached US$2 trillion and US$1.3 trillion respectively.In the next decade,how to achieve a higher level of joint construction and sharing of the"Belt and Road"has received worldwide attention.2.How can China-Europe Land-Sea Express build new competitive advantages.The China-Europe Land-Sea Express Line,with the port of Piraeus in Greece as its hub,has become the"third trade corridor"between Asia and Europe after sea transportation routes and overland China-Europe Express trains.Since its operation in 2014,this trade corridor created by COSCO SHIPPING has realized a faster and more convenient connection between the"Maritime Silk Road"and the"overland Silk Road"in Europe.It has become one of the typical cases of success under the Belt and Road Initiative.3.COSCO SHIPPING Ports:Help build an integrated ecosystem of port and trade.As a key node connecting the sea and land,ports are crucial in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.In the past ten years,ports have been built and completed,creating new opportunities for cooperation.As the world's leading integrated port operator,COSCO SHIPPING Ports Co.,Ltd.takes"port+"as a platform,and actively participates in the construction of an integrated ecosystem of port,shipping and trade through"building"the Silk Road and"chain"the world,providing a model of port cooperation for the high-quality development of"One Belt and One Road".4.Write a new chapter of"Silk Road Shipping".With the main line of serving the construction of the"Belt and Road",COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers Co.,Ltd has successively provided customized logistics services for the UAE wind power demonstration project,Bangladesh Koba wind power project,Indonesia Jakoban high-speed Rail project,Bosnia and Herzegovina Ivovik wind power project,Croatia Pelesac Bridge and other projects.
