文物专题展览策展思路刍议——以中国国家博物馆“中国古代钱币展”改陈为例

A Discussion on the Curatorial Approach of Special Exhibitions on Cultural Artifacts:Taking the Renovation of the “Ancient Chinese Currency” at theNational Museum of China as an Example

我国博物馆出于文物保护的目的,通常采用“物以类聚”的文物分类方法,根据质地将文物分为不同类型进行分类保护。文物专题展览是综合类及历史类博物馆的重要展览类型之一,与基本陈列不同,更多地从艺术、题材、文化、流传等方面展现某类文物的内在演进逻辑,且更注重视觉表达。在策展过程中,策展人员要充分分析本馆展览定位、馆藏优势、目标观众等,以避免出现“千展一面”的尴尬局面。

For the purpose of cultural artifacts preservation,museums in China typically employ a classification method of“grouping by similarity”.Artifacts are categorized into different types based on their material characteristics and preserved.The special thematic exhibition of cultural artifacts is one of the significant exhibition types in comprehensive and historical museums.Unlike basic exhibitions,these exhibitions focus more on the internal development,logic,art,themes,culture,and transmission of a particular category of artifacts,with an emphasis on visual expression.In the curatorial process,curators should thoroughly analyze the museum's exhibition positioning,collection strengths,target audience,and more to avoid the awkward situation of“a similar display in every museum”.
