In order to study the test of prohibited azo dyes in leather and fur products in automotive materials,this paper interprets the international standard ISO 17234-1:2020 for the test of prohibited azo dyes in leather,and compares the part of the standard changes as well as the impact.It specifi cally involves the technical update of instruments,equipment and reagents,and the optimization of test procedures to improve the test method and the analysis of false positive test results.It provides technical guidance and support for the testing of prohibited azo dyes in leather and fur products.
