于无字处致敬——唐代碑志署衔中阙字的实践与设计

Respect without a Word——Practice and Design of Quezi in Shuxian of Tang Steles and Epitaphs

今存唐代碑志中,撰人与书者的“待制”类署衔往往可见阙字表示尊敬的实例,但并不符合部分平阙礼制文献的“不阙”要求,貌似违规的现象反映出其背后符合礼制精神、超越礼仪制度的书写习惯与深层社会原因。通过考察书法风格与刻工的选择,将类型统计与个案分析相结合,本研究对如何深入理解文字、实物与设计者的复杂关系,提出新的思考。

In the Tang steles and epitaphs,the titles of author and writer,"Daizhi"(Receiving Edict),often show the example of"Quezi"(add a blank before some specific characters)to respect the authority.It seems to be a violation of the ritual system's"Buque"(No need to Quezi)requirement,but this phenomenon reflects the writing habits and social reasons which emphasize the spirit of ritual rather than its system.By examining calligraphy style and carvers'titles,combining type statistics with case analysis,this study proposes new ideas on how to deeply understand the complex relationship of text,materials,and designers.
