《百年海外华人学者的中国文艺理论建构》通过海内外诗学的比较与互动,旨在梳理脉络、还原现场、透视异同、反思批判,借此提醒我们海外华人学者的中国文艺理论建构别有洞天。其开拓性贡献至少有:其一,全面梳理百年海外华人学者中国文艺理论建构的整体脉络和学术版图;其二,站在“立足于传统的现代性诉求”视角,细察和研讨百年海外华人学者中国文艺理论建构中的诸多核心议题;其三,揭示和辨析百年海外华人学者中国文艺理论建构之于西方汉学界、内地学界的差异,评价反思其对中国文艺理论建构进行现代阐释的经验和策略,为新时代中国文艺理论话语体系的建设提供进路和可能性。相较于以往成果,此书踵事增华,显示出更为系统、整体和深入的研究,是问题意识鲜明的后出转精之作,代表当前海外华人诗学研究的最高水平。

By a comparative interaction with poetics both at home and abroad,The Construction of Literary and Arts Theory of China by Overseas Chinese Scholars over a Century intends to comb through the veins,return to the original sites,gain perspectives over differences or similarities,and critique through reflections,reminding us that the construction of the literary and arts theory of China as made by Chinese scholars overseas is uniquely different,its pioneering contribution lying in the fact that the whole vein and academic map of this construction by them over a century is combed through,that,from the angle of a modern appeal that is made on the basis of tradition,a multitude of key issues regarding the construction is examined and studied,and that the differences between this construction and that made by the Western world of sinology and mainland scholarly world are revealed and analyzed,with the experience and strategy of a modern explication of the construction is evaluated and reflected upon,providing an access and possibility in the building of a system of discourse for the literary and art theory of China in the new age.Compared with the past achievements,this book is an enhancement in that it shows a more systematic,total and in-depth study,an excellent work after the consciousness of the issues are accentuated,representing the highest level of the study of poetics by Chinese scholars overseas.
