关中西部农村丧葬入殓仪式考察

An Examination of the Encoffining Ceremony of Rural Burials in theWestern Guanzhong Region

葬礼作为人生四大仪礼中最后一个重要仪式,是生命体应得的哀荣。通过对陕西关中西部农村地区丧葬习俗的考察,从临终初丧、小殓、大殓三个层面着重梳理记录了“入殓”流程和仪式,揭示了农耕文明下民间千百年传承下来的丧葬习俗内涵及背后蕴含的生死观念,表达了生者对逝者尊重与怀念的情感。

Funeral,as the last important ceremony among the four major rites of life,is the mourning honor due to the deceased.Through the investigation of funeral customs in the rural areas of western Guanzhong,Shaanxi Province,the process and rituals of“encoffining”are recorded from the three levels of the beginning funeral,small coffining and large coffining,which reveal the connotation of funeral customs and the concept of life and death behind the folk customs inherited from thousands of years under the agrarian civilization and expresses the living’s feelings of respect and remembrance for the deceased.
