第一性原理软件应用于固体物理教学的探索

摘要 固体物理课程是高等院校物理专业本科生重要的一门专业必修课。针对该课程教学过程中存在的理论教学与实践脱节、教学手段单一、平时过程考核不能体现运用知识能力等问题,该文提出利用第一性原理软件辅助固体物理课程教学的改革举措。通过将第一性原理软件的一些功能应用于固体物理不同章节内容的教学过程,实现固体物理知识学习与第一性原理计算训练紧密结合。同时把运用第一性原理软件分析解决具体问题作为课外任务引入平时的过程考核,考察学生理论联系实际的能力。这些举措能够使学生更直观地理解固体物理知识,改善课堂教学效果,同时锻炼学生运用所学知识分析问题和解决问题的能力,能够将知识学习与科研训练结合起来,有助于其养成良好的科研素养。 The solid state physics course is an important compulsory course for physics majors in colleges and universities.In view of the problems existing in the teaching process of this course,such as the disconnection between theory teaching and practice,single teaching means,and the inability to reflect the ability to apply knowledge in normal process assessment,this article proposes reform measures to use first-principles software to assist the teaching of solid-state physics course.By applying some functions of the first-principles software to the teaching process of different chapters of solid-state physics,the learning of solid-state physics knowledge and the training of first-principles calculations can be closely integrated.At the same time,the use of first-principles software to analyze and solve specific problems is introduced as an extracurricular task into the usual process assessment,to examine students'ability to connect theory with practice.These measures can enable students to understand solid-state physics knowledge more intuitively,improve the classroom teaching effects,and at the same time exercise students'ability to use the knowledge they have learned to analyze and solve problems.They can combine knowledge learning with scientific research training,which will help them develop good scientific research literacy.
