一种基于DPDK的地面相控阵雷达数据流高性能传输机制

摘要 地面相控阵雷达相比于传统雷达在部署方式和功能上具有优势,有较好的应用前景.目前,采用硬件传输地面相控阵雷达数据流缺乏灵活性,而采用传统的基于Linux网络协议栈的传输方法具有性能瓶颈.针对上述问题,本文基于DPDK(Data Plane Development Kit,数据面开发套件)提出了一个面向地面相控阵雷达数据流的高性能传输机制.首先,针对CPU单核频率较低的问题设计了一种基于多核CPU的多线程方法.其次,设计了帧池、帧索引池和进程间通信协议,实现了数据的重组和消费.再次,融合了Mbuf和Mempool数据结构实现了高速网络报文的缓冲.最后,基于实际的硬件平台开展了实验,实验结果表明,本文提出的传输机制能够在低丢包数前提下实现单机不少于8通道的地面相控阵雷达数据流传输,数据传输效率相比于传统的Asio网络库在网络流量和数据包捕获率指标方面有一定的提高. Compared with traditional radar,ground phased array radar has advantages in deployment methods and functions and has good application prospects.At present,the use of hardware to transmit ground phased array radar data streams lacks flexibility,and the transmission method using the traditional Linux network stack has a performance bottleneck.In view of the above problems,based on the DPDK(Data Plane Development Kit),this paper proposes a high-performance transmission mechanism for ground-based phased array radar data streams.First,a multi-threaded method based on multi-core CPU is designed for the problem of low CPU single-core frequency.Secondly,the frame pool,frame index pool,and interprocess communication protocol are designed to realize the reorganization and consumption of data.Again,the Mbuf and Mempool data structures are fused to achieve high-speed network packet buffering.Finally,experiments were carried out based on the actual hardware platform,and the experimental results showed that the transmission mechanism proposed in this paper can realize the transmission of ground phased array radar data streams of no less than 8 channels per unit under the premise of low packet loss,and the data transmission efficiency is improved compared with the traditional Asio network library in terms of network traffic and packet capture rate index.
