On Stalnakerian Context

斯托内克语境理论将语境定义为交际者的共有场,即交际方在某一时刻所共同预设的信息。我们可以从“概念特征”和“基础问题”两个方面对斯托内克语境进行深入的考察。斯托内克的语境理论实际上是一种关于语境的表征理论。

Stalnaker’s theory of context defines context as the common ground between interlocutors,namely what is commonly presumed at a particular time by the interlocutors.This theory can be examined in terms of both“conceptual characteristics”and“foundational issues”.Additionally,we shall argue that Stalnaker’s common-ground theory of context is a representational theory about context.
