The large-scale integrated transportation hub integrates a variety of transportation modes and assumes the conversion function between external traffic and urban traffic. The increasing complexity of passenger traffic behavior puts forward higher requirements for the planning and design of the hub.Con⁃sidering the limitations of the later operation,it is particularly important to establish a suitable passen⁃ger flow operation evaluation system, evaluate the passenger operation efficiency under the current de⁃sign scheme in the planning stage, identify potential operational problems, and provide dynamic feed⁃back to optimize the design scheme. The paper analyzes the functional layout of building facilities, sorts out the passenger flow line, and establishes a quantitative passenger flow evaluation index system by summarizing elements and selecting indicators from the perspectives of overall operation efficiency and key process efficiency, aiming at safety, timeliness, patency, convenience and capability applicability. It is applied to the quantitative selection and improvement of Nanjingbei Railway Station in the planning stage, and provides basis and suggestion for the design optimization of comprehensive railway hub.
