Evidence that Fintech Improves the Efficiency of Corporate Investment

本文利用2011年至2020年期间的上市公司样本和省级面板数据,研究金融科技是否以及如何提高上市公司的投资效率。本文发现,企业投资效率与金融科技水平呈正相关。此外,企业董事长与总经理二职未合一显著增强了正相关。

This article uses a sample of listed companies and provincial panel data from 2011 to 2020 to study whether and how fintech can improve the investment efficiency of listed companies.This article finds that there is a positive correlation between the investment efficiency of enterprises and the level of financial technology.In addition,the lack of integration of the two positions of chairman and general manager significantly increased the positive correlation.
