摘要
从创新效率的视角,企业面临的外部产品市场竞争压力能否转化为企业高质量发展的内生动力?以2010—2020年沪深两市A股上市公司作为研究对象,实证检验了产品市场竞争对企业创新效率的影响。研究发现:产品市场竞争能够显著提升企业创新效率。机制分析结果表明,产品市场竞争通过缓解管理者短视主义行为倾向和改善企业信息环境实现对企业创新效率的显著提升。研究结论为产品市场竞争这一外生压力对企业创新从投入端到产出端的转换效率的影响提供了经验证据,有助于明确外部环境与企业内涵式发展之间良性互动的基本路径。
From the perspective of innovation efficiency,can the external product market competition pressure faced by enterprises be transformed into the endogenous power of high-quality development?Taking A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges from 2010 to 2020 as the research sample,this paper empirically tests the impact of product market competition on enterprise innovation efficiency.The results show that:product market competition can significantly improve the innovation efficiency of enterprises.The result of mechanism analysis shows that product market competition can significantly improve the innovation efficiency of enterprises by restraining the tendency of managers'short-termism behavior and improving the information environment of enterprises.The research conclusion provides empirical evidence for the impact of the exogenous pressure of product market competition on the transformation efficiency of enterprise innovation from the input end to the output end,and helps to clarify the basic path of effective interaction between the external environment and the connotative development of enterprises.
