The rapid development of urban construction has brought about a series of problems.The article deeply analyses the repetitive and"copycatting phenomenon"of buildings,revealing its root causes including historical,urban planning defects,profit oriented construction,and other factors.It proposes solutions and calls in adopting regionalism,respecting tradition,and integrating traditional elements,emphasizes the importance of the reutilization of existing buildings,calls for attention to historical background and urban environment,and creates buildings that are harmonious with tradition.The core idea of the declaration is to call on architects to stop repetitive construction,promote Green Building,value history and culture,and achieve critical regionalism in China.At the same time,the article expresses confidence of Chinese architectural design in the future.
