Overview of Building System,Technical Standards and Compliance in Australia

澳大利亚是联邦国家,根据澳大利亚宪法,建筑法规受8个州和领地的管辖。各州和领地有自己的建筑法或基本建筑法规,并建立辖区内的建筑规章制度,采用适用的建筑技术标准。各州和领地的建筑法(Building Act)采用国家建设规范(National Construction Code)的一部分作为适用技术标准,即澳大利亚建筑规范(Building Code of Australia,BCA)。本文主要介绍了澳大利亚及核心部分——维多利亚州的建筑制度和标准。

Australia is a federal state,and under the Australian Constitution,building regulations are governed by eight states and territories.Each state and territory have its own building laws or basic building regulations,establishes building rules and regulations within its jurisdiction,and adopts applicable building technical standards.The Building Act of each state and territory adopts part of the National Construction Code(NCC)as its appli­cable technical standard,namely the Building Code of Australia(BCA).This article introduces the system and standards of both entire Australia and its core part-Victoria State.
