The worldview and methodology of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era are another major theoretical innovation of the CPC in the new era,in response to the urgent need of the times and in line with the profound changes in the world,in China as well as in the Party in the new era.Built on the basis of the worldview and methodology of Marxism and the fine traditional Chinese culture,they integrated the basic tenets of Marxism with China's specific realities and fine traditional culture,featuring rich and profound implications,which are encapsulated in the“six principles”the Party must uphold,namely,we must put the people first,which is the pursuit of values;we must maintain self-confidence and stand on our own feet,which is the en-dogenous driving force;we must uphold fundamental principles and break new ground,which shows inclusiveness;we must adopt a problem-oriented approach",which is the source of innovation,we must apply systems thinking,which shows a holistic perspective,and we must maintain a global vision,which shows concerns of the world.
