The development and construction of hydraulic engineering is very important to the national economy and people's life.As an important part of hydraulic engineering,the construction quality of river embankment directly affects the safety and flood control capacity of rivers.Based on this,this paper summarizes the river embankment engineering in hydraulic engineering based on the work practice,and makes an in-depth analysis of the key construction points and quality control problems,which has important reference and guiding significance for the improvement of the river embankment construction quality in hydraulic engineering in China in the future.
