FU Wen-Bin’s Experience of Integrative Acupuncture and Moxibustion Therapy in the Treatment of Subcutaneous Lipoma

皮下脂肪瘤是一种发生于皮下,由成熟脂肪组织引起的慢性进展性的软组织良性肿瘤,可单发或多发。全身多发性皮下脂肪瘤是临床上常见的难治性疾病之一,其范围广,病程长,易复发,治疗效果难以持续是该病的治疗难点。符文彬教授认为,皮下脂肪瘤属中医学“肉瘤”范畴,此病多由气滞、痰凝、血瘀结聚肉里而成,其病位在皮里膜外,与肺、脾、肝关系密切。治疗全身多发性皮下脂肪瘤,符文彬教授重视整体与局部相统一,将治疗、巩固、防复发三个环节相结合,在“一针二灸三巩固”整合针灸的治疗模式下,从心、胆、脾论治,并结合火针的特性,综合运用毫火针、针刺、精灸、刺络和埋针等中医特色疗法,临床疗效确切。

Subcutaneous lipoma is a chronic progressive benign soft tissue tumor arising from mature adipose tissue that occurs under the skin and can be single or multiple.Systemic multiple subcutaneous lipomas are one of the common intractable diseases in clinic,which are difficult to treat due to their wide range,long course,easy recurrence,and unsustainable therapeutic effect.According to Professor FU Wen-Bin,subcutaneous lipoma belongs to the category of“sarcoma”in traditional Chinese medicine,which is mostly caused by qi stagnation,phlegm coagulation and blood stasis in the flesh,and its location is outside of the skin and membrane,and it is closely related to the lungs,spleen and liver.In the treatment of multiple subcutaneous lipomas of the whole body,Professor FU Wen-Bin attaches importance to the unity of the whole and the local,combining treatment,consolidation and prevention of recurrence together;under the treatment mode of“firstly applying needling,secondly using moxibustion,thirdly focusing on consolidation”,he treats the disease from the theory of the heart,gallbladder and spleen,and combines it with the characteristics of the fire needling and makes use of a combination of filiform-heated needling,ordinary acupuncture,fine moxibustion,collateral bloodletting and needle-embedding therapies.By summarizing the clinical experience of Professor FU Wen-Bin,this article aims to further explore the application of integrative acupuncture and moxibustion therapy in the diagnosis and treatment of subcutaneous lipoma,and to provide new ideas for the clinical treatment of subcutaneous lipoma.
