The Evolution and Basic Experience of Adapting Marxist United Front Theory to the Chinese Context and the Needs of the Times Since the Founding of the People's Republic of China

统一战线是党克敌制胜、执政兴国的重要法宝。1917年十月革命一声炮响,给中国送来了马克思列宁主义,由此马克思主义统一战线理论开启了中国化时代化的演进历程。马克思主义统一战线理论在中国的演进,一方面得益于马克思、恩格斯、列宁、斯大林等马克思主义经典作家们对统一战线理论与实践的探索,一方面深深扎根于中国具体实际。特别是新中国成立以来,马克思主义统一战线理论从“人民民主统一战线”演变为“爱国统一战线”,再到把“致力于实现中华民族伟大复兴的爱国者”也纳入进来的新时代大统战工作格局,其在一代代中国共产党人的不懈努力下日益系统化、科学化,并最终形成了具有鲜明中国特色和丰富科学内涵的习近平关于做好新时代党的统一战线工作的重要思想,开创了党的统一战线工作新局面。马克思主义统一战线理论中国化时代化的历史,也是一部中国共产党统一战线思想不断演进、不断拓展的历史。

The united front is an effective instrument for the Communist Party of China to defeat the enemy,to govern and rejuvenate the country.The salvoes of the October Revolution brought Marxism-Leninism to China and then the evolution of adapting Marxist United Front Theory to the Chinese context and the needs of the times began.The evolution of the Marxist United Front theory in China has benefited from the exploration of the theory and practice of the United Front by Marx,Engels,Lenin,Stalin and other classical Marxist writers,on the one hand,and has been deeply rooted in Chinas concrete realities.Since the founding of the Peoples Republic of China,the Marxist United Front Theory evolved from the“People's Democratic United Front”to the“Patriotic United Front”,and to the broad united front in the new era that includes“Patriots who are committed to realizing the Great Rejuvenation of the Chinese Nation”,which has been increasingly systematized and scientifically refined through the unremitting efforts of successive generations of Chinese Communists and has ultimately formed Xi Jinping's Important Thoughts on the CPC's United Front in the New Era with distinctive Chinese characteristics and rich scientific connotations,which have opened up a new situation for the CPC's united front work.The history of the Sinicization of Marxist United Front Theory is also a history of the continuous evolution and expansion of the CPC's united front ideology.
