Sad But Can Hold,Slow Down But Not Raise—On Emotional Control in the Narration of All Nights in the World

作家创作并不是一味地宣泄感情,而是理性、有节制地将情感适当融贯在所要表达的对象中,如此方可取到最佳的审美效果。迟子建在《世界上所有的夜晚》中采用大量语言修辞转移或淡化情感烈焰,又以外来者“我”为叙述视角使情感的表达自然真切又客观冷静,叙述中,作者善用文本上的重现与情绪上的理性节制营造出富有规律性的情感节奏,又通过阻断的方式建构独特的叙事结构使情感得到充分传达。迟子建正是从叙述语言、叙述视角、叙述节奏及叙事结构方面成功地进行了情感控制。该文以《世界上所有的夜晚》为中心从这4个方面探讨情感控制的方法,可以以此透析迟子建在整个创作中是如何调控感情的,并探寻出其创作的最大特点“温情而忧伤”的形成之因。

A writer's creation is not simply about venting emotions,but rather about rationally and moderately integrating emotions into the object of expression to achieve the best aesthetic effect.In All Nights in the World Chi Zijian uses a large amount of language and rhetoric to shift or downplay the flames of emotions,and uses the outsider"I"as the narrative perspective to make the expression of emotions natural,sincere,and objective.In the narrative,the author also makes good use of the reproduction of the text and the rational control of emotions to create a regular emotional rhythm,and constructs a unique narrative structure through blocking to fully convey emotions.Chi Zijian successfully achieved emotional control from the perspectives of narrative language,narrative perspective,narrative rhythm,and narrative structure.This article focuses on All Nights in the World and explores the methods of emotional control from these four aspects,in order to analyze how Chi Zijian regulates emotions throughout his entire creation and explore the formation of his greatest characteristic of"warmth and sadness"in his creation.
