非物质文化遗产外宣翻译——以《非物质文化遗产保护研究》为例

Translation of Intangible Cultural Heritage Publicity——A Case Study of Research on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage

非物质文化遗产是人类文明的瑰宝,是优秀文化的重要载体,其内涵丰富,包括种类众多。在国际交流频繁的时代背景下,翻译作为国际沟通桥梁,发挥着愈发重要的作用。非物质文化遗产英译能够推动中国非物质文化遗产走向世界,对于弘扬中华优秀文化、增强民族自信和文化自信、促进文明互鉴和民心相通、推动构建人类命运共同体具有重要意义。结合《非物质文化遗产保护研究》英译案例,在外宣翻译视角下,译者总结非遗英译难点如非遗名称翻译准确性、非遗相关翻译、标准与形式的统一规范,探讨可采用的翻译策略,以期非物质文化遗产文化专有项的英译达到更好的外宣传播效果。

Intangible cultural heritage is the treasure of human civilization,which has rich connotation,including all kinds of culture.In the context of frequent international exchanges,translation plays an increasingly important role as an international communication bridge.English translation of intangible cultural heritage can promote China's intangible cultural heritage to the world,which is of great significance to carry forward the excellent Chinese culture,enhance national and cultural confidence,promote mutual appreciation of civilizations and promote the construction of a human community with a shared future.Based on the difficulties in Chinese-English translation of Research on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage such as the accuracy of the translation of the name of intangible heritage,the translation of intangible heritage,the unification of standards and forms,this paper discusses the translation strategies that translators can adopt in the translation of intangible heritage from the perspective of publicity translation,with a view to achieving better publicity of the Chinese-English translation of intangible cultural heritage.
