Coal mining is a complex task,and in actual operations,various hazards are often encountered,especially when the excavation face passes through the roof,which may cause fracture zones,which can endanger the safety of subsequent mining and may lead to accidents.On the basis of introducing the hazards and causes of the roof crushing accident in the excavation face,this article analyzes the support methods of the roof crushing belt in the excavation face through examples,with the aim of ensuring the smooth progress of coal mining operations.
