Objective:To explore the role of navigation nursing mode in esophageal cancer patients.Method:30 esophageal cancer patients admitted from September 2021 to March 2022 were selected as the control group, and 30 esophageal cancer patients admitted from September 2022 to March 2023 were included in the experimental group. The control group received routine care, while the experimental group received navigation care. Both groups of patients received continuous care for one week.Compare the postoperative rehabilitation, complications, quality of life, and patient satisfaction between the two groups.Result:The first time of getting out of bed and hospitalization time in the experimental group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05);The complications such as atelectasis and anastomotic fistula in the experimental group were less than those in the control group(P<0.05);The scores on the World Health Organization Quality of Life Scale(WHO QOL-100)in the experimental group after nursing care were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);The satisfaction scores of patients in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:After the intervention of navigation nursing mode in esophageal cancer patients,it can promote postoperative recovery, reduce postoperative complications, improve and enhance their quality of life, and thus achieve higher patient satisfaction.
