摘要
本文从全民健康的新视角来深入研究健康的经济增长效应。文章构建了一个包含少儿、成人和老人三个阶段健康水平在内的内生经济增长模型,阐明了不同生命周期阶段健康具有不同的作用路径,存在方向各异的替代效应与收入效应。研究表明早年生命周期健康投入能够促进增长,实现健康与增长的双赢。晚年生命周期健康投入对经济增长的影响取决于进步方向,保障存活质量下的老年人寿命延长将促进人力资本投资与经济增长。文章的研究结论对高质量经济增长下实现健康战略落地具有重要的启示作用。(1)评估健康与增长的动态关系,要考虑不同生命周期阶段健康的差异化作用路径。(2)从单一关注晚年生命周期健康医疗到早期生命周期健康预防与晚年生命周期健康医疗并举。(3)老年健康不仅要关注寿命延长,更要重视健康寿命的延长。
From a new perspective of universal health,this paper studies the economic growth effect of healthy.Health level of children,adults and the senior citizens are simultaneously introduced into the endogenous economic growth model,which is used to clarify the different function paths of healthy in different lifecycle stages and show substitution effect and income effect in different directions.The results indicate that early lifecycle health can promote economic growth and achieve a win-win situation between health and growth.The impact of health investment in the twilight years on economic growth depends on the direction of progress.The increase of survival time will inhibit human capital investment and slow down the growth,while the improvement of survival quality will promote human capital investment and growth.Under high-quality economic growth background,the conclusions of this paper play an important enlightenment role on the implementation of health strategy.Firstly,we should consider the differentiation paths of healthy in different lifecycle stages to evaluate the dynamic relationship between health and growth.Secondly,we should change our minds from a single focus on lifecycle health care in aged to the simultaneous development of early lifecycle health prevention and later lifecycle health care.Thirdly,in terms of elderly health,we should not only focus on living longer,but also pay more attention to the extension of healthy life span.
