During the 14th Five Year Plan period,the construction industry will shift from a stage of rapid growth to a stage of high-quality development,and effective control of engineering costs will become an important mean of achieving economic benefits in construction projects.This article analyze the connotation and importance of construction project cost management,explore the main factors that affect construction project cost and the problems in management,focuse on the strategies for effective control of project cost,and propose a new method of deep excavation of cost data to control project cost using big data theory.
