The Heterogeneous Impact of FDI on Economic Growth——Based on VAR Model Analysis in Beijing

结合北京的定位和经济结构特征,分析利用外资影响经济增长的机制,选取1996—2021年的时间序列数据,构建VAR模型,实证检验外商直接投资对北京经济增长的影响。研究结论表明:北京市外商直接投资与经济增长存在稳定的长期联系,是经济增长的格兰杰原因;FDI对经济增长持续拉动作用具有滞后性;不同产业利用外商直接投资额对经济增长推动效用不同,第三产业最为突出。北京应进一步促进投资便利化,改善营商环境,稳外资并引导外资流向。

Based on Beijing's positioning and structural features of the economy,this paper analyzes the mechanism of using FDI to influence economic growth.The paper selects the data from 1996 to 2021,constructs VAR model,and empirically tests the impact of FDI on Beijing's economic growth.The research results show that There is a stable long-term relationship between foreign direct investment and economic growth in Beijing,which is the Granger reason for economic growth.FDI has a lagging driving effect on economic growth.Different industries use FDI to promote economic growth differently,with the tertiary industry being the most prominent.Beijing should promote investment facilitation,improve the business environment,stabilize and guide the flow of foreign investment.
