中国文化在服饰中的表达——以APEC会议国家领导人服饰设计为例

The Expression of Chinese Culture in Clothing——Taking the Clothing Design for Leaders at the APEC Meeting as a Case Study

国家领导人是一个国家在新闻媒体上最活跃的元素,而领导人的服饰是最直观的视觉形象受到大众媒体的广泛传播。本文对国家领导人服饰展开研究,探讨其概念界定,中外领导人的服饰历史与服饰形象,领导人服饰对国家形象的建构,并以清华大学美术学院教授李薇以国家领导人服饰设计为例,探索出以中国传统纺织材料、传统织染绣手工艺为媒介,让中国传统文化融入当代时尚,适应国家级礼仪场合,又能展现领导人稳健、端庄形象的领导人服饰设计新思路。

National leaders are the most active elements of a country in the news media,and the leader's clothing is the most straightforward visual image widely disseminated by the mass media.This article conducts research on the clothing of national leaders,explores its conceptual definition,the history and content of clothing of Chinese and foreign leaders,and the construction of national image by leaders'clothing.It also takes the design practice of Li Wei,a professor at the Academy of Arts&Design in Tsinghua University,for the clothing worn by leaders as a case study.The design is to explore new ideas for leaders'clothing design that uses traditional Chinese textile materials and traditional weaving,dyeing and embroidery craftsmanship to integrate traditional Chinese culture into contemporary fashion,adapts to national ceremonial occasions,and displays a serious and dignified image of leaders.
