Professor Zheng Liang's Experience in Treating Ulcerative Colitis

溃疡性结肠炎(UC)是以腹痛、腹泻、黏液脓血便为主要临床表现的难治性消化系统疾病,病程迁延反复,日久具有癌变风险,严重影响患者生活质量。目前为止,UC的病因不清,发病机制复杂,缺乏明确清晰的机制。郑亮教授为江苏省第四批名老中医药专家学术经验传承人,长期从事UC的临床研究工作,在UC的治疗上敢于突破。郑亮教授认为,UC的主要致病因素为湿、热、毒、瘀;病位在肠,与脾、肾两脏关系最为密切,病性属本虚标实。疾病初期邪实正稍虚,以气滞、湿阻、毒瘀为主,后期正虚邪恋,浊毒内伏,以脾肾不足、气血两虚为主。治疗上,其主张采用中药灌肠与西医联合治疗。中药灌肠能直接作用于病处,标本兼治,并且能减少对肠黏膜的损伤。

Ulcerative colitis(UC)is a refractory gastrointestinal disease clinically characterized by abdominal pain,diarrhea,and bloody mucus.The course of the disease is prolonged and repeated and may cause cancer over time,seriously afecting the quality of life of patients.So far,the etiology of UC is not clear,and the pathogenesis is complex,lacking a clear mechanism.Professor Zheng Liang is the 4th batch inheritor of the academic experience of famous traditional Chinese medicine experts in Jiangsu Province.He has been engaged in clinical research on UC for a long time and has made breakthroughs.Professor Zheng Liang considered that dampness,heat,toxin,and blood stasis were the main pathogenic factors of UC,and the disease was most closely related to the spleen and kidney.The disease belonged to the defciency in origin and enrichment in symptoms.At the early stage of the disease,the pathogenic factors and excess were weak,mainly due to qi stagnation,dampness obstruction,and toxin and stasis.In the later stage,there was the syndrome of lingering pathogen due to defcient vital qi,and the turbid toxin was concealed,with the defciency of spleen,kidney,qi,and blood as the main cause.In the treatment,Professor Zheng Liang advocated the combination of traditional Chinese medicine enema and Western medicine.Traditional Chinese medicine enema can directly act on the disease,relieving both symptoms and root causes,and can reduce the damage to the intestinal mucosa.
