摘要
文章基于2007—2015全国262个城市的面板数据,在测度城市居民消费潜力和全球价值链嵌入程度的基础上研究了城市嵌入全球价值链如何释放居民消费潜力的问题。结果表明:整体上看,城市嵌入全球价值链程度的加深能够提升城市居民消费潜力;在影响机制上,全球价值链能够在供给侧提升当地消费市场的规模和促进当地消费市场的升级,在消费市场需求侧提升居民的消费倾向,进而从供需两侧释放居民消费潜力;进一步分析发现城市的产业集聚程度和数字经济发展水平在全球价值链释放居民消费的过程中发挥着重要的调节作用,产业集聚程度和城市数字经济发展水平的提升有助于嵌入全球价值链的城市更好释放居民消费潜力。以上结论表明释放居民消费潜力需要从消费市场的供需两侧协同发力,在充分吸收全球价值链带来的国际资源和市场的同时,也要加强城市建设和自主创新,利用好国际国内两个市场、两种资源。
Based on the panel data of 262 cities in China from 2007 to 2015,this paper studies how urban embedded global value chains release the consumption potential of residents on the basis of measuring the consumption potential of urban residents and the degree of embedding in global value chains.The results show that,on the whole,the deepening of urban integration into global value chains can enhance the consumption potential of urban residents.In terms of impact mechanism,the global value chain can increase the scale of the local consumer market on the supply side and promote the upgrading of the local consumer market,increase the consumption tendency of residents on the demand side of the consumer market,and then release the consumption potential of residents from both the supply and demand sides.The degree of industrial agglomeration and the level of digital economy development of cities play an important role in regulating the process of releasing residents'consumption in the global value chain,and the improvement of industrial agglomeration degree and the development level of urban digital economy will help cities embedded in the global value chain to better release the consumption potential of residents.The above conclusions show that to release the consumption potential of residents,it is necessary to make concerted efforts from the supply and demand sides of the consumer market,fully absorb the international resources and markets brought by the global value chain,and at the same time strengthen urban construction and independent innovation,and make good use of the two markets and resources at home and abroad.
