B型套筒角焊缝的多模式全聚焦检测

摘要 常规超声相控阵技术对B型套筒角焊缝内的条形刻槽缺陷往往仅能显示尖端衍射,难以完整表征缺陷形态。本研究采用多模式全聚焦方法,对B型套筒角焊缝竖直熔合线区域的刻槽进行检测成像,并与扇扫图像进行对比。结果表明,多模式全聚焦及图像融合法能够完整展现角焊缝竖直熔合线区域的刻槽缺陷特性及走向,是B型套筒角焊缝缺陷检测更为理想的手段。 Conventional ultrasonic phased array technology often only shows tip diffraction for stripshaped groove defects in B-type sleeve fillet welds,and it is difficult to fully characterize the defect shape.In this study,the multi-mode total focusing method was used to detect and image the notch in the vertical fusion line area of the B-type sleeve fillet weld,and compare it with the sector-scan image.The results show that the multi-mode total focusing method and image fusion method can completely display the characteristics and direction of the groove defect in the vertical fusion line area of the fillet weld,and it is a more ideal method for the detection of B-type sleeve fillet weld defects.
