习近平总书记在中共中央政治局第五次集体学习时强调,加快建设教育强国,为中华民族伟大复兴提供有力支撑。建设教育强国,龙头是高等教育。2023年9月12日至13日,由中国高等教育学会、吉林大学、中国高等教育培训中心共同主办的“新时代高等教育高质量发展论坛”在长春举行。会议以“强国建设,高教何为”为主题,各位专家学者围绕教育强国与高质量高等教育体系建设、面向国家重大战略需求的拔尖人才自主培养、适应科技创新和产业变革推进的高校治理以及学科优化与交叉融合等方面进行了探讨。

General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized in the fifth collective study of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee that accelerating the construction of a powerful country in education will provide strong support for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.To build a powerful country in education,the leader is higher education.From September 12 to 13,2023,the“High-quality Development Forum of Higher Education in the New Era”co-sponsored by China Association of Higher Education,Jilin University and China Higher Education Training Center was held.With the theme of“building a powerful country,what can higher education do”,the experts and scholars discussed a powerful country in education and the construction of a high-quality higher education system,the independent training of top talents for the major strategic needs of China,the governance of colleges and universities that adapt to the advancement of scientific and technological innovation and industrial change,and the optimization and cross-integration of disciplines.
