With the continuous development and application of information technology,the needs of far-sea communica-tion are becoming more and more important.Traditional communication networks have many limitations,such as band-width,delay,security,etc.The emergence of 5G technology has brought new development opportunities for far-sea com-munication.This paper introduces the concept and advantages of 5G technology,discusses the application scenarios,ad-vantages and existing challenges of 5G technology in far-sea communication,and proposes the construction scheme of far-sea communication network based on 5G technology,including network architecture,equipment selection,security de-sign,networking design and security guarantee.Finally,the construction and optimization of far-sea communication net-work based on 5G technology are discussed in detail,in order to provide reference for promoting the innovation and deve-lopment of far-sea communication technology.
