The Reshaping of Orthodox ldeas and the New Changes in Literature:A Study on the Compilation of the National History of Wu

韦昭《吴书》是吴国三次官修国史的结果,也是陈寿私撰《吴书》的基本依据。易代之后,吴人兴起私撰吴国史的热潮,主要是对陈寿《吴书》“正魏伪吴”立场的不满。在吴国史的官修私撰中,吴人不仅塑造了“三方之王”的新型正统观,而且通过不同立场、不同史源的叙述增强了事件的文学性,呈现了史家文学的新面貌。吴人史家还赓续了沉寂已久的文章不朽说,突出了史著不朽的新观念。

The book Wu Shu by Wei Zhao is the result of three official revisions of the national history of Wu,and it also serves as the fundamental basis for Chen Shou's private work Wu Shu.After a change in dynasty,there was a surge among the people of Wu to privately compile their own history of Wu,mainly due to dissatisfaction with Chen Shou's biased perspective towards Wei.In the process of official revision and private compilation of Wu's national history,the people of Wu not only shaped the new orthodox view of"three kingdoms with three rulers",but also enhanced the literary nature of events through different perspectives and historical sources,presenting a new aspect to historiography.The historians from Wu also continued the long-standing belief in immortal literature and highlighted a new concept that historical works can be immortal.
