国外考古旅游研究进展及启示

Progress of archaeological tourism research abroad and implications

【目的】考古旅游作为一种新兴的旅游形式,对其进行全面、深入的研究有助于考古旅游的可持续发展。【方法】本文以“Web of ScienceTM核心合集”为数据源,通过CiteSpace可视化分析软件绘制了国外考古旅游研究的知识图谱。【结果】(1)1993—2022年,国外考古旅游研究发文量整体呈快速发展趋势;(2)国外研究机构多以约旦和西班牙的高校为主,缺乏跨地域的机构合作群体;(3)研究内容上,国外考古旅游多聚焦于旅游目的地开发、旅游者行为以及旅游目的地管理与保护等方面,且侧重于某个考古遗址的个案实例研究;(4)国外研究多关注于游客体验、目的地管理与保护等相关的传统命题,未来气候变化、案例地保护与旅游可持续发展将是重点关注的话题。【结论】通过对国外考古旅游研究现状的分析,本文认为未来国内考古旅游研究应从开拓研究视野、扩展研究内容、创新研究方法及加强合作交流等方面加以关注。本文深入把握国外考古旅游研究的演进态势与前沿焦点对于提升中国考古旅游研究水平,促进考古旅游高质量发展具有重要借鉴意义。

[Objective]A comprehensive and in-depth study of archaeological tourism—as an emerging form of tourism—can facilitate its sustainable development.[Methods]In this study,using the Web of Science Core Collection as the data source and the CiteSpace software for visual analysis,we developed knowledge maps of foreign archaeological tourism research.[Results]The following results were derived:(1)There was an overall rapid increasing trend in foreign archaeological tourism research publications from 1993 to 2022;(2)Foreign research institutions were dominated by Jordanian and Spanish universities,and there was a lack of cross-regional institutional cooperation groups;(3)In terms of research content,most foreign archaeological tourism studies focused on destination development,tourist behavior,and destination management and protection,as well as case studies of particular archaeological sites;(4)Most of the foreign research focused on traditional propositions related to tourist experience and destination management and protection.In the future,climate change,tourism site protection,and sustainable tourism development will be the key topics of research.[Conclusion]By analyzing the current status of foreign archaeological tourism research,this article argues that future Chinese archaeological tourism research should focus on developing new research horizons,expanding research contents,innovating research methods,and strengthening cooperation and communication.With an in-depth examination of the evolutionary trend and frontier focus of foreign archaeological tourism research,this study is of great importance for improving the level of archaeological tourism research in China and promoting the high-quality development of archaeological tourism.
