10 Years of Belt and Road Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed the joint construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt in September 2013,while in Kazakhstan,and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road the following month,while in Indonesia.Together,the projects are known as 10 the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI).During the past decade,the BRI has focused on the future,and it has benefited the world as a whole.China has been sharing its experiences with developing countries,to achieve mutual prosperity,and to build a community of a shared future for mankind.
