Objective:To analyze the application value of urine dry chemistry analysis combined with serum procalcitonin(PCT)and C-reactive protein(CRP)detection in the diagnosis of urinary tract infections. Methods:A total of 88 suspected patients with urinary tract infections admitted to Changzhou De'an Hospital from November 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the study subjects. All patients underwent urine dry chemistry analysis and serum PCT and CRP detection. The results of mid-stage urine culture were as the gold standard to analyze the diagnostic efficiency of urine dry chemistry analysis and serum PCT and CRP detection. Results:Among the 88 suspected patients with urinary tract infections,73 cases were confirmed; There was no statistically significant difference in the sensitivity of urine dry chemistry analysis, serum PCT,CRP and the three-item combined diagnoses(P>0.05).The specificity of urine dry chemistry analysis combined with serum PCT and CRP was higher than that of the three separate diagnoses, and the accuracy of urine dry chemistry analysis combined with serum PCT and CRP was higher than that of serum PCT and serum CRP,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of urine dry chemistry analysis and serum PCT and CRP detection in the diagnosis of urinary tract infections has a significant effect, and can improve diagnostic accuracy and specificity.
