The“two integrations”is an originally proposed by president Xi Jinping in the new era for adapting Marxism to the Chinese context to realize its modernization,which meanwhile provides rich ideological resources and powerful theoretical support to the ideological and political course of higher education.By practicing“two integrations”though the whole process of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,we are able to promote the quality development of it in the new era.The“two integrations”empower the quality development of“ideological and political course in colleges and universities”by providing theoretical possibilities in terms of unified attributes,interdisciplinary fields,goal orientation,moral education,cultural education,era context and value concepts,as well as by providing feasibility in scientific guidelines,historical choices,national strategies,major policies,cultural integration,and team building.To ensure that the quality development of the“two integrations”empower the“ideological and political course in colleges and universities”,we must adhere to the principles of integrating the ancient into modern times,uniting knowledge and action,coordinating of“teaching”and“learning”,combining software with hardware,individualized teaching,keeping up with the times,and effective connection.Thus,this will provide main support,necessary links,key points,powerful weapons,internal driving forces,assistance,practical strategies,and main channels for the high-quality development of itself.
