抗猴痘病毒药物的研究进展

Research Progress on Drug Candidates Against Monkeypox Virus

猴痘是由痘病毒科正痘病毒属猴痘病毒(Monkeypox virus,MPXV)感染引起的一种人畜共患病,其患者症状与天花患者相似。尽管2023年5月世界卫生组织宣布猴痘不再构成“国际关注突发公共卫生事件”,但是仍建议猴痘预防和护理应纳入现有国家卫生规划。2022年JYNNEOS疫苗被FDA批准紧急使用用于治疗MPXV感染,但目前尚无抗猴痘病毒的药物批准用于临床。因此,抗MPXV的药物研发仍是一个迫在眉睫的挑战。本文综述了抗MPXV感染的潜在药物,以期为未来抗MPXV的药物研发提供参考。

Mpox is a zoonotic disease caused by infection of monkeypox virus(MPXV),which belongs to the Orthopoxvirus.The symptoms of the patients infected with MPXV are similar to those with smallpox.Though,mpox is no longer a public health emergency of international concern as announced by WHO in May 2023,integration of mpox prevention and care into existing health program is recommended.In 2022,the JYNNEOS vaccine was approved by the FDA for emergency use to treat MPXV infection,but no antiviral drug is currently approved for clinical use to treat MPXV.Therefore,developing anti-MPXV drugs is still an urgent challenge.This article reviews the potential drug candidates against MPXV infection,so as to provide a reference for development of anti-MPXV drugs.
