The continuous development of modern society and the diversification of information dissemination methods have put forward new requirements for the radio and television industry.In order to adapt to this rapidly changing media environment,the broadcast and television industry is actively paying attention to and attaching importance to the application of 5G communication technology.Based on this,this paper introduces the concept of 5G communication technology,analyzes its application advantages in the field of radio and television,and discusses the strategy of applying 5G technology in radio and television engineering,including remote production and broadcasting,the upgrade of radio and television technology,etc.,so as to provide some references for the improvement of the field of radio and television to adapt to the constantly evolving communication technology environment.
