传统文化“两创”视域下的新文科建设

摘要 新文科建设是知识增长与教育发展的必然结果,是中国现代社会的现实需要。20世纪初以来形成的现代文科体系,不是根据中国传统知识体系的逻辑发展而成,而是模仿英美教育体系,中国传统文化与现代文科体系之间的断层是一种历史的遗憾。目前致力于建设的新文科,是对现代文科体系的完善与发展,而不是对现代文科体系的颠覆,更不是简单地回归传统国学或重建儒学。在新文科建设中实现传统文化的创造性转化与创新性发展,不是重拾传统的学术话语,而是要把中国传统思想文化中那些优良的思想成分,通过现代话语加以解读和阐释,使之成为生活在现代的人们都可以理解并且乐于接受的知识,从而为增进人类社会生活的质量提供中国方案。 The development of new humanities and social sciences is a natural result of the growth of knowledge and the development of education,and also a practical need of the modern Chinese society.The modern liberal arts system of China since the early 20th century is not derived from the logic of the body of traditional Chinese knowledge,but is a product imitating educational systems in the UK and the USA.It is a historical regret that a disconnect has occurred between traditional Chinese culture and China's modern liberal arts system.We are now making great efforts to develop new humanities and social sciences with a view to refining and further developing the modern liberal arts system,neither for subverting it nor returning it to traditional Sinology or re-establishing Confucianism.The creative transformation and innovative development of traditional culture in the development of new humanities and social sciences does not mean reintroducing traditional academic discourse,but interpreting the excellent elements of traditional Chinese thought and culture with modern discourse,so that they become knowledge that is accessible and acceptable to the people of modern times and thus provide a Chinese approach to the human social life of higher quality.
