陶行知何以推行“小先生制”?

实现高质量的教育普及是陶行知一生的梦想与追求,“小先生制”是陶行知在教育实践探索与理性反思后形成的本土化、原创性教育普及制度。所谓“小先生制”,是以“在做上学”“在做上教”为原则、以“即知即传”为途径、以“小孩教小孩”“小孩教大人”为方式、以实现知识传递、更新和教育普及为目的的教育制度。陶行知之所以创建“小先生制”,是因为“小先生”能够承担部分教育职责,能够化解师资与经费不足的现实困境,可以有效解决教育普及问题,可以为教育注入活力,可以出现“知识为公”的效果。“小先生制”的有效实施,需要以“即知即传”、导师及时指导、在全社会范围内招生、改造民众生活等方式展开。
